Be honest with yourself.

Do you criticism someone

to ensure they are on the right path

and to fix their mistakes

or do you do this

for the intention of destroying

their emotions and self esteem?

Heard of the term

constructive criticism?

Constructive criticism is the process of offering valid and well-reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both positive and negative comments, in a friendly manner rather than an oppositional one (Source: Definitions Net)

Unfortunately

constructive criticism

is not common

and as a result

conflict is a common outcome.

You should never

give anyone feedback

to destroy them

nor should you give feedback

in front of others

– always privately.

Never embarrass anyone.

It is a poor quality to have.

Always make people comfortable.

To avoid mistakes,

give them feedback in a nice and honest way.

Never give feedback

to send them home in tears.

Making people negative

will not help achieve your objectives

in your organisation

and of course the main objective

is to get the task done.

Always be in the shoes of the person

you are planning of criticize.
