If you want someone to do a task, motivation is essential. What motivates people? It could be tangible or intangible. A manager praising a employee in a meeting can really motivate the employee and boost their confidence.

A manager giving a gift voucher to the best hardworking employee can be a example of a tangible incentive. To get things done, you need to give value to people’s contributions. People appreciate when others praise them as well as reward them.
