Significance of Mother’s Day

The website, Ferns and Petals got you covered!

“Mother’s day is an occasion which is celebrated in various parts of the world to express respect, honour and love towards mothers. The day is an event to honour the contribution of mothers, acknowledge the efforts of maternal bonds and the role of mothers in our society”.

Ideally, everyday should be mother’s day! She took care of you unconditionally, without any limit and spilled all her love to you. She deserves the best – not just in wealth but to gain good treatment from her children. That is a priceless gift. Give it to her. It is worth the time, worth the sweat, worth the sacrifice. It is time to thank your mother for doing such sacrifices for the intention of your own welfare.

Why your mother is worthy of respect?

I just came across a article from the Odyssey and thought a extract of the article was worthy of sharing! Here is technically reasons why you should respect your mother;

  • Your mother gave you life, you are born because of her.
  • Your mother was willing to feel grotesque so that you could come out beautiful
  • Your mother stayed many nights awake for you
  • Your mother will accept you and help you regardlesss
  • Your mother is the only person who is genuinely willing to see you succeed

A Poem for my Mother

mothers-day-3312770_1920

You sacrificed your life,

for the benefit of my life.

You are worthy,

you are praiseworthy.

I cannot thank you enough,

even if I tried it won’t be enough.

You are the reason of my existence,

I will try to give you assistance

when you are unable

to take care of yourself.

I cannot forget you,

and that is true.

You reached the end! I hope you find this post inspirational to the point it motivates you to hug your mother and treat her well! 🙂 The child who treats their parents well, are worth more than gold. Priceless and rare.

Happy belated Mother’s Day!

Bye (for now)

      1. Hi Sifar, I am so sorry to hear that! 😦 I hope you will be able to visit her soon ❤ Though I am living with my mom now, in the future that is not certain and it is indeed difficult to not be in the presence of a parent 😦

      2. Yes i try to visit her 3 times a year for a week each time. It’s been 13 years since i am away from home now…kind of used to the loneliness now ☹️….it’s difficult and i always feel those who get to stay with parents should consider themselves lucky! But i see many people having everything and settled but still trying to live away from family for independence sake!
Enjoy your time with mom as much as you can!!!
